The four Gospels are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. That's all the gospels there are, right? What's all the hubbub about "lost gospels?" You have come to expect the highest standards of rigorous and reliable analysis at light-work, so it may come as something of a shock to report the successful identification of a FIFTH GOSPEL! This is not a joke or trick. Light-work staff claims the fifth gospel actually exists, has been located, and is authentic.
Before we follow the amazing trail of clues that led our extensive light-work research staff to the fifth gospel, let's remember what's at stake here. When Jesus gave his disciples their marching orders just prior to His departure from planet earth, He told them to make disciples. One phase of this disciple-making project involves "teaching them to observe all that I commanded you." So the discovery of a fifth gospel has profound implications for every disciple-maker on the planet. If there is a fifth gospel, then it contains additional instruction from Jesus. Any attempt to make disciples and to teach them to observe "all that Jesus commanded" cannot be accomplished without this additional instruction. The discovery of the fifth gospel means that all disciple-making endeavors without it are rendered incomplete and inadequate. Effectively making disciples without the fifth gospel it like trying to win Daytona with one tire missing! Not gonna happen!
At His last supper with the disciples, Jesus made a mysterious claim: “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now" (John 16:12). Jesus made this statement after the betrayer had scuttled into the night - so it's insider information. Here's what we know. As of the night in which Jesus was betrayed, there was, apparently, a HUGE CACHE of truth that hadn't yet been revealed. It was not for the Judas types. Even for the good guys, the remaining eleven, their mental hard drives were not yet formatted and ready for their information download. What was in this secret truth trove? Jesus died in less than 24 hours after making this announcement. Did He take this information with Him to the grave? Was this "fifth gospel" ever downloaded?
Let's trace the clues! (This is exciting - kind of like "National Treasure!") Follow in the foot steps of your light-work guide as he unravels this paradigm altering mystery. We will get you to the bottom of this - tomorrow! You have my word!!
You have piqued my curiosity... as long as this isn't the Gospel of Thomas...
Extensive research staff, eh? That must be a new thing since I moved... definitely an extensive library for them to use, though!

I haven't been paying attention to the news lately--has an actual fifth gospel been recently discovered? Or are you alluding to information contained in a known book of the Bible not typically named as a "gospel"?

Me,
Could the fifth gospel be you and me?

Bo,
I hadn't thought of this, but I think it is a brilliant suggestion! 2 Cor. 3:3 suggests that an authentic believer is a living letter of Christ. So in a loose sort of way, we might think of believers who are living proof of the gospel as "the fifth gospel."
